Come target redfish, trout, snook, tarpon, and more! This unique body of water is world-famous for it’s its population of redfish and large trout. The fishing in this area is exceptionally visual, as it is not uncommon to see a prowling redfish so shallow that the full length of its back is exposed, A snook laid up millimeters below the surface, or a gator trout sunning on a sandy bank. In addition to shallow water redfish, trout, snook, and more the lagoon is known for solid numbers of bull redfish to target. Capt. Bach caters to anglers of all experience levels, from those looking to catch their first flats fish, to astute fly and spincast anglers. 1/2, 3/4, and full day charters are available, depending on your preference, aboard the 16ft Maverick Mirage. During full-day charters, a stop at on the water restaurants are available for lunch!

Experienced Capt.
Captian Hunter Bach grew up fishing the Mosquito Lagoon. From a young age he was drawn to the sight-fishing it offers across the shallow water flats, the breath taking landscapes, and the variety of gamefish to target. He has since guided clients of all levels of experience to trophy Snook, Trout, Redfish, and more.

Spinncast
With Capt. Bach, you can ensure the gear you use will be smooth and effective. For spin-cast anglers the Mosquito Lagoon and surrounding intercoastal waters offer a vast variety of options including fishing live bait in trout holes, blind casting topwater lures, and sight fishing tailing redfish with finesse baits. Depending on your desires, Capt. Bach will supply live bait, tried and true artificial lures, or both to ensure you have the best possible chance for success.

Fly-Fishing
The Redfish , Snook and large Trout of Mosquito Lagoon are numerous and challenging. For sight-fishing the flats, the subtly and action of the fly is often the most effecive weapon. in addition to the flats, Capt. Bach targets large snook in channels, Bonito on the beach, schools of trout in deep holes, tarpon and more with with fly fishing anglers depending on the season and clients desires.
